Summer is in full effect and while the year in music has already seen some great hip-hop releases, rappers aren't done yet.

The month of August will kick off with a number of highly-anticipated projects from the likes of Travis Scott, YG, Mac Miller and Iggy Azalea. Scott will drop off his long-awaited Astroworld album, while YG and Miller will drop Stay Dangerous and Swimming on Aug. 3, the follow-ups to their 2016 projects, Still Brazy and The Divine Feminine. 

The day will also see the long-awaited release of Azalea's Surviving the Summer EP, which has gone through a number of delays and a name change. Stefflon Don, a 2018 XXL Freshman, will also drop a new project on the same day, releasing her Secure mixtape. Drake affiliate Baka Not Nice will also unload his 4Milli album on Aug. 3.

Just a bit later, on Aug. 8, Young Nudy will drop off his Slime Ball 3, a project fans have awaited for quite a bit. On Aug. 10, 2018 XXL Freshman Trippie Redd will drop off his debut album, Life's a Tripand Koran Streets will unload his Late 20s album. Later in the month will finally see the release of Nicki Minaj's Queen, which was originally scheduled for a June release. Nicki's new album was set to drop on Aug. 17, the same day hip-hop veteran DJ Muggs will share Dia Del Asesinato, but ended up dropping on Aug. 10.

Surprising everyone, 2017 XXL Freshman Aminé unloaded his new album, OnePointFive, on Aug. 14.

Closing out the month will be Don Q and Lud Foe. Don Q's Don Season 2 is set to drop on Aug. 31.

Other drops for this month include Z Money (Chiraq Mogul), Doe Boy and TM88 (88 Birdz) and Reese LaFlare (Reese LaFlare)
