YG and Danny Brown are coming to a theater near you. The two rappers are featured in a trailer shared today (June 5) for the upcoming crime drama White Boy Rick, which tells the story of a teenage FBI informant-turned-cocaine dealer in Detroit named Richard Wershe Jr..

Based on the trailer, the Yann Demange-directed film traces Wershe's rise and fall in the drug trade. YG plays a member of the Curry Brothers, the gang with which Wershe was embedded. Brown plays a yet-undisclosed role (at least on IMDB), although a character with his back to the camera in the trailer says the line, "We gettin' money," followed by a high-pitched cackle. Matthew McConaughey will also appear in the film as Wershe's father.

YG is no stranger to Hollywood, having acted in the Snoop Dogg and Wiz Khalifa comedy Mac & Devin Go to High School and a lesser-known Snoop vehicle titled We the Party.

Brown, for his part, wrote the ABC sitcom Fresh Off the Boat's theme song and recorded voice acting for the video game Grand Theft Auto V. He also starred in a tour documentary titled Live at the Majestic that Apple Music produced but never released.

Both rappers are also working on new records, although not much is known about either project. Danny revealed in November that his Atrocity Exhibition follow-up is being produced by an unnamed "legendary" producer. And during this year's All-Star Weekend, YG announced his next album Stay Dangerous is "on the mothafuckin' way."
