Everybody knows Silentó. His 2015 hit, "Watch Me (Whip/Nae Nae)," took the world over, with the song itself going six-times platinum, alongside the video racking up over 1.3 billion views on YouTube. After jumping into the game with such a big splash, Silentó has more success in sight with his latest single. His new track, "Talk to Me," is about trying to bring an old relationship back to life, and isn't a dance song at all.

The David Sule-directed video starts with clips of a girl walking around with her friends, as Silentó's voice admits he ruined the relationship and wants to make things right. His ex continues to live her life without him, but seems to be hurt by the split. As various clips of better times between the two play, Silentó sings about the situation. Towards the end of the video, it seems like there's a chance they may reunite.

On the song, Silentó talks about his destiny with his girl, and how things will eventually go their way: "When the stars align, we control the sky above." The chorus is also personal, showing a heartbroken guy vying for the attention of a past love. "I'm like come and talk to me, I'm all ears for you girl/Baby can you follow me? I know I can make your day/Baby come and talk to me, I ain't nothing like the usual" he sings.

Silentó's aforementioned runaway hit, "Watch Me (Whip/Nae Nae)," was chosen as one of 2015's biggest dance crazes by XXL; the song's meteoric rise was also documented on the site. Unfortunately, Silentó ran into a little bit of trouble in 2016, being temporarily held back in Dubai due to a business dispute with a promoter in the city.
