When XXL spoke to Rico last year for The Break, the young star shared that one of her goals it to pave a new lane for women in hip-hop, and it appears she's finally living it out. "It’s so many talented women and some don’t even get heard because we’re always compared to the next nigga," she admitted. "Stop comparing the girls to the boys. They feel like it’s a lot you have to do and a lot you have to put up with. We over that shit."
