Joey Bada$$ has had a monumental run this past year. At the top of 2018, the Brooklyn lyricist earned his first platinum certification for the infectious record "Devastated," partnered with athletic brand PONY for a sneaker collab, and most recently celebrated his six year long rap career by making his debut EP 1999 available on all streaming services.

Early Monday afternoon (June 11), Joey shared the news via his Instagram account. "It’s official my first project #1999 is now available on ALL streaming platforms!," he wrote in as the caption for the project's cover art.

"Today marks 6 years since I came into this game and dropped this masterpiece," he continued. "So excited to finally get it up on DSP’s. Happy #1999Day!" The project can now be streamed on Spotify, Apple Music and more.

1999 undoubtedly marked Joey's emergence onto the rap scene, earning him notoriety as one of the most promising voices in New York, with its nostalgic beats and his effortless flow. Fan favorites include deep cuts like "Pennyroyal," in which he sings of love lost, as well as "Summer Knights" and "Waves." Joey served as both the executive producer and A&R for the project, a subtle inclination of his longing to replicate the career of his mentor Jay Z.

It's also worth nothing that Joey deleted all the photos from his Instagram page except for the aforementioned 1999 anniversary post, leading many fans to believe that his follow up to All-Amerikkan Bada$$ could very well be arriving sooner than expected. In the meantime, however, Joey's listeners can settle in to his latest offerings which include his feature on Power Pleasant's "Pull Up."
