As the hip-hop community continues to mourn the untimely passing of Jimmy Wopo, new details have emerged regarding the Pittsburgh rapper's funeral services.

According to Wopo's manager, Taylor Maglin, the viewing is to be held on Wednesday evening (June 27) and the burial ceremony will follow on Friday morning (June 29) in the "Jimmy Bonds" rapper's native Pittsburgh. Maglin announced the arrangements via Wopo's Instagram account along with a caption that read, "Everyone is welcomed to attend."

As previously reported, Wopo was shot and killed in his beloved city's Middle Hill neighborhood on Monday (June 18). The 21-year-old's death came just hours after XXXTentacion was confirmed as being gunned down in Deerfield Beach, Fla.

Late last year, Wopo dropped off his Back Against the Wall mixtape that included stand out tracks like "Elm Street," which earned him notoriety throughout Pittsburgh's local circuit. Written during a two-month stint in prison, the project showcased Wopo's knack for frontline street music.

During his sit down with XXL, back in 2017, the Steel City artist candidly spoke about his plans to dominant the rap game. According to Wopo, he didn't want to be a one-hit wonder.

"I want to be on and be in the industry for a long time," he said. "And get into some other shit; I’m not a faker. If I do this, I’m doing it all the way and get into all the entertainment shit I can get into. Keep money coming in."
