Gallant and ASAP Ferg Drop "Doesn't Matter Matter (Remix)" Video

Gallant, a Maryland crooner, and A$AP Ferg, the Harlem hitmaker, have recently up on a remix and made magic. Ferg lended a verse to Gallant's May single "Doesn't Matter" and today, the video for the remix sees the light of day.

The Sasha Samsonova-directed video is beautiful, opening in a futuristic all-white home, with the camera focusing on Gallant. The scene then switches to Ferg in a blue-tinted room, and he heads into his verse. The rest of the video consists of shots of Gallant and the leading lady, as he sings about trying to hold the relationship together, as best he can. The video ends with Gallant and the woman passing each other at the entrance to a building, in silence.

Ferg's verse is cool, and he's surprisingly comfortable on an R&B song. "Baby girl, you're so amazing/Your body's so hot like Cajun/And we can hit up any spot in the nation/Skinny dippin', might wanna leave ya braids in," he raps. A thoughtful guy, that Ferg. He also isn't concerned about any other women getting in between him and his love: "Ain't worried 'bout, no groupies/Give you Prada, give you Gucci."

The pair also performed the "Doesn't Matter Remix" on Jimmy Kimmel Live! this past weekend. Ferg's been up to some things as of late, dropping the video for his song from the Uncle Drew soundtrack "Harlem Anthem," and sharing his thoughts on the now-cooled Pusha T and Drake beef.

In addition to dropping this remix, Ferg will be quite busy over the next month, as he's set to hit the road for the rescheduled dates of his Mad Man Tour, featuring Buddy and IDK. The fun starts on July 7 in Portland, and wraps up with an NYC homecoming show on July 27. Check out the dates below.
