Kanye West has been flooding our timelines with content today (May 1). First, he shared his lengthy interview with Charlamagne Tha God, which was informative and touched on a multitude of topics. Yeezy then made his way to the TMZ offices to speak with Harvey Levin, where he went on a tangent admitting to developing an addiction to opioids after liposuction surgery that led to his 2016 breakdown and hospitalization.

"I was drugged the fuck out, bro," the 40-year-old rapper began. "I was on opioids. I was addicted to opioids and two days after I got off of opioids I'm in the hospital. I had plastic surgery because I was trying to look good for y'all. I got liposuction because I didn't want y'all to call me fat like y'all called [Rob Kardashian] at the wedding and made him fly home before me and Kim got married. I didn't want y'all to call me fat. I got liposuction and they gave me opioids and I started taking two of them and driving to work."

One of his friends was tasked with getting Kanye his opioids on the 2016 Saint Pablo Tour. This led to speculation in ’Ye's camp that he had a pill-popping problem. When his friend informed him that the pills were used to "kill genius," West stopped taking them.

The Chicago native goes on to talk about how doctors wanted to significantly up his dosage after his UCLA Medical Center stay. "Two days later I'm in a hospital," he shares. "I was taking two pills a day at that time. When I left the hospital how many do you think I was given? Seven. I went from taking two pills to seven."

"The reason why I dropped those tweets and everything is because I was drugged the fuck out, bro," ’Ye claims. Kanye later admits to taking just one or two pills a week now that he's prescribed by docs. "Y'all had me scared of myself of my vision so I took some pills so I wouldn't go to the hospital and prove everyone right," he said, concluding his stream of consciousness.

The "Ye vs. the People" rapper also alluded to 400 years of slavery in America being a choice. Check out Kanye's revealing conversation below.
