Famous Dex is hitting the road in support of his new album Dex Meets Dexter.

The Chicago rapper made the announcement on Twitter on Monday (May 7). Dubbed the Dex Meets Dexter Official Tour, the 19-city trek will take off in just over a week in Houston on May 17. The jaunt will touch down in major cities like Atlanta, Boston, Philadelphia, New York, Chicago, Detroit and Los Angeles, before closing out in Phoenix, Ariz on July 1.

Tickets for the tour are available at DexterOfficial.com. As of right now, it doesn't look like Dex will be bringing any guests along for the ride, but that is surely subject to change. We may also get some surprise appearances.

One of Dex's show dates include a set at the famed Hot 97 Summer Jam. Kendrick Lamar has been dubbed the headliner for the event. Others on tap to perform on the Stadium Stage at the showcase include A$AP Ferg, Lil Wayne, Tory Lanez, Swizz Beatz & Friends, Remy Ma, Rich The Kid, Megan Ryte & Friends, A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie and Hood Celebrityy. The Festival Stage will see the likes of Dex, Jay Critch, Don Q and Snoopy Dinero.

Dex's debut album dropped last month. The LP featured A$AP Rocky, Wiz Khalifa, Drax Project and Diplo, and served as the follow-up project to the 2016 mixtape Dexter the Robot. The album is enjoying some success and has produced a gold single in the Rocky-assisted banger "Pick It Up."
