E-40 never likes to leave his fans waiting long when it comes to dropping new material and now it looks like he's coming back with a new album. The Bay Area rap veteran announced his forthcoming The Gift of Gab studio LP last week (May 18), and also unveiled the release date and cover art.

The new project from E-40 is slated to hit our ears on June 29, but so far, there's no details on the potential tracklist. For the cover art, the "Straight Out the Dirt" rapper keeps it simple by using a screenshot of the dictionary definition of "gab," which reads, "the ability to speak with eloquence and fluency." The screenshot even features a sentence example as well as synonyms for the phrase.

Outside of working on his own solo material, E-40 is coming off the heels of some collaborations since the start of 2018. The West Coast entertainer previously teamed up with his cousin, B-Legit, for their joint Connected and Respected project back in April. He was also featured on Philthy Rich's The Remixes mixtape along with a slew of other major artists at the end of last month.

Check out E-40's announcement for his The Gift of Gab album below and be sure to hear it when it drops on June 29.
