Dreezy is making some money moves this year. The rapper revealed on Twitter just a few days ago that she landed her first acting gig, which can be viewed on Netflix sometime in the near future.

"Just got my 1st acting role and it's w/ Netflix 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾 Crazy!," she tweeted out last week (May 3). This marks Dreezy's first time entering the scripted arena, but she isn’t completely new to being onscreen—she's appeared as herself on shows like Wild ‘N’ Out and K. Michelle: My Life to date.

While it will be interesting to see Dreezy flex her acting chops, there’s no denying her strength lies in her lyricism. The "Everything" rapper has managed to carve out her own niche, dropping tracks with everyone from Kodak Black and PnB Rock on "Spar" and "Can't Trust a Soul," respectively. Her latest announcement comes one day after the release of her latest music video, "2nd to None" featuring 2 Chainz.

Dreezy is currently working on the follow-up to her 2016 debut LP, No Hard Feelings. "I've been just working on music. I've been on so many shows and stuff it's crazy" she told XXL back in May 2017. "Then I'm working on my second album. Making new music, new vibes." Let's hope we'll hear some of these unreleased tunes from the Chicago spitter as she graces the Rolling Loud Miami stage this weekend, May 11.

Details about her acting project with Netflix have yet to be confirmed by the company itself. View Dreezy's tweet about the new gig below.—Safra Ducreay
