A$AP Bari, a founding member of the A$AP Mob, has been arrested at London's Heathrow Airport for a sexual assault incident stemming from 2017.

According to a May 18 report from TMZ, the A$AP Mob member was nabbed by police on Tuesday (May 15) after making a stop in England for a connecting flight. The arrest stems from a July 2017 incident at a London hotel, where Bari allegedly assaulted a woman and told her she would have to have sex with him after having sex with his assistant.

While Bari did not rape the woman, footage shows him pulling sheets off of her, exposing her bare body and kicking her out into the hotel hallway naked. The woman also alleges that while she hid in the bathroom, Bari told her, "I'm going to fuck you, you are going to suck my dick."

Sources say Bari was aware that London police were investigating the case and he had previously been contacted by authorities to come to London for an interview. The VLONE founder has since been bailed out of jail but had his passport taken away and is now unable to leave the country.

In August, Bari released an official statement, saying the conflict with the woman had been settled and revealed he was disappointed with himself. "We have resolved this issue amicably among all parties as adults. We were friends before this and will remain friends afterwards," he wrote.

Since the allegations were made public, Bari has lost his partnership with Nike, who confirmed to XXL they were no longer working together.
