Taking a break from rapping and his usual charitable efforts, Trae Tha Truth was the guest at a recent Houston Astros game and got to throw out the ceremonial first pitch.

The "Can't Get Close" rapper visited Minute Maid Park for the Astros April 7 game against the San Diego Padres and documented his experience on Instagram. Sporting a custom white Astros jersey that featured "King Truth" on the back, Trae had a successful first pitch and was able to get his throw over the plate, even if it was a little high.

"Today Was Dope And A Blessing... I Made It Straight Across Home Plate.. Threw It A Lil Higher Than I Wanted But ‍♂️... I Repped The The Right Way!" the rapper wrote on Instagram.

"First Pitch⚾️⚾️ .. Straight Over Plate.. Lil Higher Than Expected.. Guess I Been Workin Out To Much Luv... The Energy From The Crowd Cheering Was A Blessing!! ... #KingTruth #LordJustDontLetItHitTheGroundB4ItHitThePlate #MyArmsStrongAsShit #MightNeedToSkipAFewArmDayz #ThePressureAlmostGaveMeGas," he added in a separate post.

In related news, Trae Tha Truth recently dropped his Hometown Hero album. Released in March, the 12-track project serves as a dedication to his home city of Houston and features guest appearances from T.I., Boosie Badazz, Young Thug, Money Man, RaRa, Ink and Kim. The album also includes Trae's latest single with Thugger, "Don't Know Me."
