TM88 has a new home. On Wednesday (April 4), the 808 Mafia member used his Twitter account to announce to the world that he'd officially signed to Capitol Records.

"Been waiting for a min to tell everybody that I signed with @CapitolRecords New Project otw 88!!," the producer wrote in a tweet. Note that he also announces a new project.

Now, TM88 hasn't offered up too much in the way of details for the deal or his apparently forthcoming project, but we definitely have some things to look forward to. TM88 is one of the very best producers in the entire industry, and he's created enough bangers to make that much clear.

Last year, the super-producer crafted the instrumental for Lil Uzi Vert's multi-platinum single, "XO Tour Llif3." Although the song was huge, TM88 apparently didn't get paid for it. He tweeted about the instance back in January and there haven't been any developments from that saga, but he seems to be in good spirits nonetheless.

Regardless of setbacks, it looks like TM88 is up to some very big things. A couple months back, he and Wiz Khalifa were working on some music together. A bit later, Khalifa himself chimed in and revealed that the project they were working on was Rolling Papers 2. Should be dope, whenever we get it.
