Meek Mill is one step closer to regaining the freedom he's been fighting for. Despite his recent prison release, he was previously not allowed to travel outside Philadelphia, but now it appears those restrictions have been dropped, under one condition.

On Friday (April 27), Judge Genece Brinkley altered Meek's bail conditions to grant him the ability to venture outside of Pennsylvania's Montgomery County on business, as long as he gives 72 hours prior notice before leaving, according to TMZ. He's also required to submit a urine sample once a month.

Meek was released from prison just last week on April 24 following a Supreme Court hearing on his case. While he remains on bail, his lawyer Joe Tacopina believes he won't serve anymore time. "We're not worried that this case is ever going to stand because the prosecutor and the defense both agree the case needs to be dismissed for constitutional violations and overturned," the lawyer said. "He's never going back to jail."

XXL recently discussed if this will be a turning point in Meek's career for our podcast Hip-Hop Moments of Clarity.
