Kanye West has been tweeting a lot of wisdom recently, but it seems he's now using the platform to make some major career announcements. On Thursday afternoon (April 19), the "Ultralight Beam" artist used the social media platform to announce that his mysterious new album will be comprised of seven tracks and will drop on June 1.

In addition to the announcement about his own album, Kanye also tweeted that he and Kid Cudi have a joint album coming just a week later on June 8. He writes that the album will be titled Kids See Ghost, which doubles as the name of his and Cudi's group.

In just four tweets, Kanye has rocked the hip-hop sphere. "My album is 7 songs," "June 1st," "me and Cudi album June 8th," and "it's called Kids See Ghost. That's the name of our group."

Fans have been buzzing for months about the new project, which he was rumored to be working on in Wyoming. Rick Rubin was even spotted with Yeezy a few weeks, sparking talk they were working on the forthcoming album. Most recently, radio host Charlamagne Tha God was seen walking out of the studio with Kanye, who animatedly told paparazzi that he had played Charlamagne some new music.

It's evident that ’Ye is feeling the need to create, as his hit album, 808s & Heartbreak, turns 10 this year. Kanye also announced that he'd be releasing a philosophy book that he plans to tweet in real time, documented on his Twitter account last night.
