6ix9ine continues to mess up potential big payouts as companies are distancing themselves from the controversial rapper after his name has popped up in two recent shooting investigations. Now, it is being reported that he lost out on a potential $5 million headphone deal with Tunes Audio over his crew being investigated for shootings that took place in Brooklyn last week.

TMZ reports the Brooklyn rapper had a potential seven-figure deal on the table with the bubbling audio company. But recent allegations against the popular rhymer have forced them to cut ties.

"At this time it is in the best interest of our company to move on. We wish him well, he's a great artist," a rep for the company told the site.

Tunes was ready to cut 6ix a $4.9 million check to promote their new line of red headphones, but now the deal is off the table. They cite a recent investigation that points to the rapper's crew as being persons of interest in the shooting that took place at Casanova's video shoot.

Earlier this week, it was reported that the "Gummo" rapper had been barred from performing at the Barclays Center due to a shooting incident that reportedly took place when his crew and Casanova's entourage crossed paths at the venue during the Adrien Broner and Jessie Vargas fight last Saturday (April 21). In that shooting, police believe a person in 6ix's posse fired a shot during the melee. No one was hit in the incident.

6ix continues to be a polarizing figure. Music-wise, he recently dropped the video for his song "Gotti."
