Vince Staples Launches GoFundMe, Promises to Shut Up Forever If It Reaches $2 Million

Vince Staples is one of hip-hop's most outspoken rappers, never biting his tongue during an interview. But now, for $2 million, Staples is willing to shut up forever.

On Wednesday (March 7), the "Norf Norf" rapper announced the launch of his new GoFundMe page, #GTFOMD, which stands for "Get the Fuck Off My Dick." According to Staples, he's heard some complaints following his recent shows and would like to give people an alternative.

"On GoFundMe.com you can decide to donate to the cause of 2 million dollars, which will allow me to shut the fuck up forever and you will never hear from me again. No songs, no interviews, no anything," the rapper said in a video.

Along with shutting up forever, the Big Fish Theory artist also promises to use the $2 million to move to Palmdale, Calif., buy a Honda, purchase a puppy and buy a year-supply of "soups for the homies locked down."

If you choose not to donate to his cause, you can do as the title of his GoFundMe says and get off his dick. "If not, you can choose to let me do what the fuck I want to do, when I want to do it," he continues. "Get off my dick, or fund my lifestyle. The choice is yours. Either way we appreciate you."

Staples recently wrapped up a national co-headlining tour with Tyler, The Creator and based on his new campaign, could be gearing up for a new project. If the GoFundMe page is just a joke, #GTFOMD may be the name of a new album and the campaign could all be promotion.
