We're just a little over a week away from getting our hands on DJ Premier and Royce 5'9"'s second joint album together as PRhyme. Before it drops on March 16, fans are getting a first listen of PRhyme 2, courtesy of NPR.

The new studio LP, which follows up their first album from 2014, contains 17 total tracks, each featuring a slew of hardcore rhymes from the Detroit rapper and some experimental production from Premier. The dynamic duo provide bangers for hip-hop heads and lyricist enthusiasts far and wide, as well as a history lesson. There is even a track called "Everyday Struggle," which seems to pay homage to Joe Budden's previous hosting role on the Complex web series.

While some may be skeptical of how inclusive the sound feels for younger hip-hop lovers of today's era, PRhyme 2 does not stick to a nostalgic element coming from two prominent veterans of the culture.

As Royce already revealed last month, the album comes with a number of guest features, including Dave East, Roc Marciano, Yelawolf, Rapsody, Big K.R.I.T., 2 Chainz, Cee-Lo Green and more. The first single to drop off of the LP was "ERA" with East, which they coincided with a music video at the beginning of February.

Be sure to head over to NPR to get your first listen of PRhyme's new album that officially drops on March 16.
