Lil Durk's career path has been going through some changes, but it's not stopping the music. After five years, the OTF spitter reveals that he has left Def Jam Recordings. However, as an independent artist, Durk shares the news that his new Just 'Cause Y'all Waited EP is dropping on Friday (March 30).

L.D. explained his decision to part ways with the label undergoing a change at the helm to Billboard "I'm a different artist than I was five years ago, and the time is right for a change. At the same time, Def Jam is making changes in their offices and trying a new direction. I didn't want to be a part of another regime change."

His latest project sees features from Ty Dolla $ign, PARTYNEXTDOOR and Lil Baby, who appears on "How I Know," which the duo dropped an audacious visual to on Thursday (March 29).

Just 'Cause Y'all Waited includes the previously released "1 (773) Vulture," "Cross Roads," which sees the Chi-town resident pay homage to Bone Thugs-N-Harmony, and the DY-produced "Durkio Krazy."
