Before the start of the 2018 iHeartRadio Music Awards, Kendrick Lamar already wins big. The platform announced via Twitter today (March 11) that Kendrick Lamar snagged the awards for both Hip-Hop Artist of the Year and Hip-Hop Album of the Year for DAMN.

The tweet from iHeartRadio was a graphic congratulating Kendrick on the win, along with a shout-out to his hit song in the caption, which said "Be humble."

Kendrick is an undeniable favorite, but was up against some solid competition for Hip-Hop Artist of the Year. Among the other nominees were DJ Khaled, Drake, Future and Migos.

The Compton rapper has already had a big award season thus far, picking up seven nominations at the Grammy Awards in January and winning Best Rap Song, Best Music Video and Best Performance for "Humble." In addition to those, he and Rihanna also won Best Rap/Sung Performance for "Loyalty."

Across the pond at the 2018 British Music Awards, Kendrick beat out Drake, DJ Khaled and Childish Gambino for International Male Solo Artist. He also wowed the crowd with an intense performance of "New Freezer" with Rich The Kid, in which Kendrick stood on top of a giant glass case for his verse while Rich The Kid smashed a car inside it with a baseball bat.

While accepting his International Male Solo Artist Award, he thanked England for holding him down. "I really appreciate this moment. I'ma always have love for y'all," he said.

No word yet on whether or not Kendrick will attend the iHeartRadio Music Awards tonight to accept his win—but we'll be watching. Check out iHeartRadio's tweet below and stay up to date with our 2018 iHeartRadio Music Awards winners list.
