6ix9ine's rise to fame has been littered with headline-catching moments, from court cases to airport brawls. Now, it looks like he is beefing with fellow Brooklyn rapper Jay Critch.

The two BK rappers recently exchanged shots on social media by calling each other out on Instagram. The public spat appears to have started a few days ago, with Critch bringing up his issues with the "Gummo" rapper. "I never hated on @6ix9ine_ never said a word about him. Cause I don't care. But he clearly feels a way about me. lol," Critch wrote on Instagram, implying he'd heard 69 has been talking greasy about him. "This just goes to show that they don't like when you mind your business and you winning."

69 then responded, "You tagged me the other day and said 'why I'm watching face' and you told ya homie I was acting Hollywood when you met me. Don't lie to your fans. Anyway, we both from Brooklyn. It ain't nothing to meet up you down the street."

He added, "Meet me on the charts. Hayyyyyy"

The exact origin of the beef is unclear, but 69's frequent claims of being King of New York could have something to do with it. In another IG post, Crtich claims someone was throwing subliminal shots his way over a magazine headline which labeled him the "New New York."

Can't we all just get along?
