Following "The Race" going platinum in January, now Tay-K kicks off February with the new song "After You," produced by Ahlecks.

On Saturday night (Feb. 3), the two-minute track appeared on the Texas-bred rapper's SoundCloud page. Tay-K, who's currently locked up on a capital murder charge, issues warnings and holds nothing back on the keyboard-driven song with lines like, "You get robbed for your flashy shoes" and "Nigga wanna show his ass like a baboon/Now he's a hashtag, now he's a tattoo."

A day prior to the song dropping, a tweet on the 17-year-old rhymer's official Twitter account teased the new music to come. "NEW MUSIC TOMORROW N ITS STILL FREE TAY-K BUT NOT FOR LONG #FREETAYK #REEPIMP #RR4L," read the tweet along with a photo of an incarcerated Tay-K, who stood alongside a friend behind a glass partition in jail.

The track previously appeared online in leaks and snippets but this marks its official release.

Tay-K, born Taymor Travon McIntyre, has been behind bars since June of 2017. At the time of his arrest, he was on the run after cutting off his ankle monitor to escape house arrest for his role in a 2016 robbery and murder of 21-year-old Ethan Walker in Mansfield, Texas.

He's also facing a second murder charge for the fatal 2017 shooting of 23-year-old Mark Anthony Saldivar at a Chick-fil-A in San Antonio, Texas.

Since he's been in jail, Tay-K's hit song and video for "The Race" went viral. The track has been given the remix treatment by countless rappers including the likes of Lil Yachty, YBN Nahmir, Kodak Black and Meek Mill, among others. The official remix for "The Race," featuring 21 Savage and Young Nudy, arrived in December of 2017, along with the re-released version of his #SantanaWorld (+) project.

He even landed a record deal while incarcerated. Last December, Tay-K signed a deal with 88 Classic, founded by J Grand, Senior Vice President of A&R and Marketing at RCA Records.
