Run The Jewels' ''Legend Has It'' Lands in Lexus Commercial

Lexus has tapped the Run The Jewels track "Legend Has It" to score the new Black Panther-themed commercial for their LS 500 F Sport model, which will air during the Super Bowl tomorrow (Feb. 4).

The clip is action packed. In it, Black Panther, played by Chadwick Boseman, serves some henchmen with the fade and must escape the scene. He makes haste to his ride, and is scooped up by his sister in the powerful new LS 500 F Sport model, of course. All the while, Killer Mike and El-P's heart-pumping banger, which appeared on their latest album, Run The Jewels 3, plays in the background. The running time for the actual Super Bowl add will be shorter, coming in at 30 seconds, but the luxury car line has released a full 60-second clip on YouTube.

RTJ aren't the only rappers with spots in ads for the big game. Cardi B has been cast in a new Amazon commercial that features the Bronx rapper auditioning to become a voiceover replacement for Alexa, Amazon's cloud-based smart device.

Busta Rhymes and Missy Elliott are also in the mix. They recently teamed up for a Mountain Dew and Doritos ad that will air during the Super Bowl. In the hilarious clip, the rappers prepare Morgan Freeman and Game of Thrones actor Peter Dinklage for an epic tongue-twister battle.
