After rumors spread in December that G.O.O.D. Music may have signed a new artist, the record label has now officially added a new rapper to its roster. On Thursday (Feb. 1), Pusha T welcomed Chicago rapper Valee to the G.O.O.D. Music family.

"We out here, Chicago, GOOD Music, Pusha T, newest signee," King Push said in a video of himself standing with the rapper.

"If you know, you know...if you don't you soon will. @valee #GOODMusic #Chicago," he wrote in another photo uploaded to Instagram.

Rumors of Valee's signing began spreading a few months ago after the rapper's video for "I Got Whatever" was posted on the G.O.O.D. Music Twitter account in August. The label also reissued the Windy City artist's "Miami" single on all streaming services, adding more fuel to the fire. Valee himself also added to the rumors before the deal was announced, stating he was going to give G.O.O.D. an album.

With his raspy voice and laidback flow, Valee has quickly become one of Chicago's most recognized rappers. "These Maison Margielas, you jealous, pull up in a Tesla/Whenever, however, no matter the weather/I fucked up a sixty, I could bought a bezel," he spits on "I Got Whatever."

Between his videos for "Shell," "I Got Whatever" and "Cole Haan," Vale has already racked up over a million views on YouTube.

While fans of the label continue to wait for albums from Pusha and Kanye West, G.O.O.D. Music had a successful 2017, releasing projects from Big Sean, Kacy Hill and Cyhi The Prynce, as well as Big Sean and Metro Boomin's joint project, Double or Nothing.

2016 saw the label drop even more projects, including Yeezy's The Life of Pablo, Desiigner's New English and John Legend's Darkness and Light. No word on when Valee's project will release but expect more info on it any day now.
