Meek Mill Receives Note From Court Clerk Asking for Money at Probation Violation Hearing

A Philadelphia court clerk apparently took shooting your shot to the next level at Meek Mill's sentencing hearing back in November and slipped the rapper a note requesting money for her child's college tuition.

The woman, Wanda Chavarria, claims she did so without anyone's knowledge, reports TMZ. "This will probably be my son's last semester at [Virginia Commonwealth University] if the tuition isn't paid for this year and unfortunately with my bad credit, I am unable to secure a loan or cosign a loan for my son," the letter reads in part. "Anything you can do is very much appreciated."

She added, "It is every parent's hope to provide the best for their children. Unfortunately, I am unable to fully financially support Marsell's dream of going to college and pursuing his dreams."

Charvarria tells TMZ, she thought Meek would find a soft spot for a fellow Philly native and come to the rescue. She has not heard back from Meek or his people about the request. However, her son was able to stay enrolled and is on track to graduate in May.

The letter was probably the last thing on the Dreamchasers MC's mind after he was notified that he would have to spend the next two-four years in prison after being sentenced on a probation violation. Meek's lawyers are still hoping to find a loophole that would get the rapper released before then.
