The start of a new year is a usually a way for many people to kick off their year with a clean slate and that's exactly what Lil Uzi Vert did. The rapper recently sent love to his haters on Twitter and also sent an apology to Reese LaFlare.

"I love everybody I’m living my best life 2018 all my opps .... and anybody that hates me I really love you and if you wanna work just call," the rapper tweeted on Monday (Jan. 15).

Uzi's tweet caught the attention of Reese, who decided to take a slight dig at the rapper. "First time taking Molly be like," Reese tweeted, quoting Lil Uzi's original tweet.

While Lil Uzi appeared to be in a peaceful and loving mood, Reese's tweet brought out the rapper's petty side. "I'm sorry for punching you in the face hope ya rap career takes off have a wonderful 2018," he tweeted.

The exchange between the two continued and in a now-deleted tweet, Reese alleges he was jumped by Lil Uzi. "Ohhhhhhh you talking bout the time you and 436362772 niggas tried to jump me when I was with my bitch AT A WEEKND concert," he tweeted. "I'm sorry you can't fight I hope you continue to succeed."

Uzi eventually ended the back-and-forth, telling the rapper, "Have a good year seriously."

Lil Uzi Vert's most recent tweets is his latest Twitter feud with a hip-hop figure. Last week, the Luv Is Rage 2 rapper advised his fans to sign with a major record label instead of a DJ or rapper. The tweet appeared to rub DJ Drama the wrong way, who responded, "Lets state the facts and see who REALLY on some fake shit."

While Uzi insisted he wasn't talking about Drama, the rapper still took a shot at the DJ, tweeting, "I was given advice 2 my young followers ... you got a guilty conscience or sumthin."
