Cardi B's headed from the top of the Billboard charts to Hollywood. On Thursday (Jan. 18), it was reported that Bardi had signed her first movie deal.

According to TMZ, Bardi, who enjoyed an epic glow-up in 2017, had to turn down shows that would have earned her between $100,000-$200,000 in March because she starts shooting a movie that same month. While no one knows how much she's getting paid for the role, it'd have to be a pretty big chunk of change for the ascendant Bronx rap star to turn down that aforementioned show money.

For Cardi, this move will be the next step in a fast track to flat out superstardom. With her platinum-selling hit single, "Bodak Yellow" thrusting her squarely into the musical spotlight, Bardi's been on an absolute roll since mid-2017.

Recently, the rapper, topped Beyoncé's Billboard record when she became the first artist with five top 10 hits on the Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart simultaneously. Before that, she'd tied The Beatles and Ashanti as the only musical acts to place their first three Billboard Hot 100 hits in the top 10 at the same time.

As you can see, Cardi's been doing big things, and with a movie now in the works, she'll look to continue doing so.
