It looks like the good folks at G.O.O.D. Music might be expanding their roster by one, as reports have been circulating that Chicago rapper, Valee, might have aligned himself with Kanye West's imprint.

Rumors have been circulating for a couple months. One point of speculation was Valee's video for "I Got Whatever" being posted to G.O.O.D. Music's Twitter page back in October. Additionally, the label has reissued the Windy City native's single, "Miami," on all streaming services.

Lee added a little fuel to the fire in a recent interview. "Yeah I’m doing some work with G.O.O.D., I’m gonna give them my album," he recently told The FADER. He did not expand on his relationship with the hometown label. There has been no proper confirmation a contract has been signed.

Valee has been making a name for himself in the Chi via tracks like "I Got Whatever," "Want," "Shell," and "Fuck Yo Lean."

Despite the hiatus of Kanye West, G.O.O.D. Music had a successful year with releases from Big Sean (I Decided, Double or Nothin with Metro Boomin) and the debut albums from CyHi The Prynce and Kacy Hill.

Hopefully, Kanye West will rebound with new music in 2018. Signs point to that being the case. Desiigner recently gave an update on his reclusive CEO, and had some positive points about West's future. "Kanye is doing great man, he's staying focused," Desiigner said of ’Ye. "You know he's a busy man, he got the art going on, he got the album and also he got the label and then, first and foremost, he has a family. He's coming up, the album is about to be crazy, we working man G.O.O.D. Music, we forever baby."

Is Valee a part of G.O.O.D Music's plans. Time will tell.
