Yo Gotti represents hard for his home city of Memphis, and tries to do whatever he can to help the community in his free time. The Tennessee native is reportedly offering to help pay for the funeral of a 10-year-old boy from Memphis who stabbed himself to death.

According to Fox 13, Jaheim McKinzie reportedly died of injuries after stabbing himself in the kitchen of his home following an altercation with his mother. Robin McKinzie is being charged with child abuse for allegedly whipping her son with extension cords and choking him, which allegedly led him to stab himself.

Gotti is now willing to help with the funeral costs for the boy after hearing the tragic story.

The "Rake It Up" rapper's team has not confirmed how much money he will be giving to help for the expenses, but regardless, the gesture is sure to be a big help to McKinzie's family during this tough time.

It's been a major year for Gotti, who recently covered XXL's 20th anniversary issue, as the entertainer earned the second platinum plaque of his career for the Nicki Minaj-assisted "Rake It Up" record, which hit the Top 10 of the Billboard Hot 100 singles chart this year.

We will keep the McKinzie family and Jaheim's loved ones in our prayers during this time.
