It's been over two years since we last got a full length LP from Yelawolf, but the rapper is back and ready to take over again. The Shady Records signee previously announced his upcoming album, Trial By Fire, and this weekend (Oct. 7), he unveils the official release date for the project.

Yelawolf's new album will be hitting fans' ears on Oct. 27, releasing through Interscope and Shady Records. In anticipation of the new material to come for fans, the 37-year-old entertainer also reveals the album's artwork on Instagram, which features a photo taken by Ryan Smith of a car completely engulfed in flames.

"TRIAL BY FIRE ... dropping October 27th @interscope @shadyrecords." Yelawolf writes in the artwork caption. "#slumerican click the link in my bio and be the first to hear it !! Album Cover shot @spideysmith."

Despite laying low for the beginning of the year on the musical side, Eminem's signee has been teasing the release of Trial By Fire for quite some time now with new songs and videos. A couple of weeks back, Yelawolf dropped the visuals for his "Punk" record with Juicy J and Travis Barker. At the top of the summer, he unveiled the video for his "Row Your Boat" track, which was met with high praise from his loyal fan base.

This will serve as a significant comeback for Yelawolf, who has struggled with some intense ups and downs following the loss of a close friend and canceling his Trial By Fire Tour last year. The rapper was reportedly forced into a psych ward by an ex-manager, where he claims to have "lost everything" at the time, but is now making a big turnaround in his career.
