Trippie Redd Previews New Diplo Collab

Trippie Redd is quickly becoming one of the hottest new rappers out, and now it looks like he's landed a beat from Diplo.

On Wednesday (Oct. 18), Trippie posted a video on Instagram of a new song produced by Diplo. "Make a wish/The world is yours [Produced by: @diplo]," he wrote. The song features Trippie showcasing his vocals as he sings, "Baby what you wishing for/Maybe you should wish it more/Maybe the world is yours/Maybe when it rains it pours."

Later in the track, Trippie begins yelling his vocals, singing, "Might just blow my brains/I'll be Kurt Cobain" and repeating, "I can't feel my face/I can't feel my face/I can't feel my face." The rapper didn't reveal when the song would be dropping.

Earlier this month, the Ohio rapper dropped his latest mixtape, A Love Letter to You 2. The project featured guest appearances from Khalil, Bali Baby, Uno The Activist, Rocket Da Goon, Cydnee With a C and more.

While Trippie's style has been compared to Lil Uzi Vert, the rapper doesn't see it that way. In July, he told XXL, "It's like we low-key kind of have the same cadence, but not. We make total opposite music, I don't even make music like him. I make crazy shit."

The rapper added, "I feel like [Uzi and I] just need to make music so people will shut the fuck up. They wanna see us together in some shit and then they won't say that shit no more, I'll be my own person. I'm getting every type of co-sign, I know he listens to me. I've been told for a fact that he listens to my music. Playboi Carti follows me. It's all love. I fuck with Uzi. I like Uzi music."
