Don't look now, but Rae Sremmurd's Swae Lee got some new neck tattoos. Recently, the rapper/crooner unveiled them through his Instagram account.

One of the new tattoos, both of which were designed and rendered by artist Inal Bersekov, appears to be a chakra symbol. That one's on the side of Lee's neck. The second one looks sort of like an example of an inter-dimensional portal into rips in time and space. (We made that stuff up; Lee himself just calls it the galaxy.) Bersekov offers some context for the new ink in his own post of Lee's new neck tat.

"Had a blast working on my brother @swaelee , the Galaxy Protector. #swaelee #raesremmurd #losangeles #california #bishoprotary #bishoptattoosupply #bishopbrigade #tattoo #tat #tattoos #tatoo #ink #inked," the artist wrote.

In other Swae Lee news, the rapper recently appeared on the cover of XXL's 20th anniversary issue alongside his brother Slim Jxmmi as Rae Sremmurd. Though things are more internet-based than anything these days, the two both still appreciate being on the cover of a magazine.

"I mean, it’s a big statement," says Lee in the interview for our Fall 2017 cover story, written by XXL Editor-in-Chief Vanessa Satten. "If you’re on the front cover of a magazine, it’s very important. Plus, you reaching like, the masses. A lot of people read the magazine and tune into that stuff to see who’s hot. So, when your face is on there [it’s] saying, 'Yeah, this person is it right now,' you know what I’m saying? It’s a big statement."
