Lil Pump could be in for a big week. Last Friday, the rapper released his self-titled debut album, and it stands a good chance of landing at the No. 1 spot on the Billboard 200 chart.

According to Hits Daily Double's sales plus streaming chart (SPS), one that measures the buying of albums, singles and the amount of streams an artist gets, the Florida rapper's debut is projected to move 35-40,000 units in its opening week. At the moment, NF's Perception is set to move 38-43,000 units, so there's no telling what the final numbers will be.

For the 17-year-old Pump, this would be a pretty big accomplishment, seeing as it's his very first project. Speaking with us this past April, the Miami artist explained that he'd only been rapping for about a year to that point.

While Lil Pump's had his detractors, Top Dawg Entertainment's own ScHoolboy Q definitely counts himself as a fan. In a new video he uploaded to social media, Q was quick to call out those who'd condemn his musical taste.

“‘Aw Q, why you listening to Lil Pump?'” Q said in the vid, taking aim at those bringing his ear into question. “Because bitch, I ain’t born like you. I don’t listen to one style of music. Niggas always in my comments when I play Lil Pump. Nigga I fuck with it.”

He continued, “Look, my favorite rapper Nas, but if you think I just want to listen to that style of music all day every day, you a fucking idiot. And that’s probably why you in the same spot you stuck at. ‘Cause your mind ain’t open to new shit, different shit.”

Check back with us on Sunday to find out if Pump took the top slot.
