Zoey Dollaz raised some eyebrows when he flipped a JAY-Z line to diss Joe Budden during his 2017 BET Hip Hop Awards cypher verse. Naturally, Budden responded, but before we get to that, let's take a look at the line.

Spitting over this year's designated BET cypher beat, Zoey rapped, “Jay told me never go Eric Benet/I say never go Joe Budden, and lose a bad chick like Tahiry all on TV.” If you recall, Hov referenced Benet to contextualize what he stood to lose by cheating on Beyoncé. Zoey flipped the idea to apply it it to Budden's split from Tahiry Jose, someone he dated on Love & Hip Hop. She broke up with Budden on the show.

Responding to Zoey, Budden tweeted, "Dude keep mentioning me like he can rap lol" before responding to Zoey directly with "U trash @ZoeyDollaz." Zoey in turn clapped back by screenshotting the tweet and posting it to Instagram. "Uncle Joe! EVERYBODY GO ON HOE BUDDEN PAGE AND DROP THE AND THE FLAG ON HIS SHIT!!!!!!!" wrote Zoey in the caption. Will this go any further? Hard to say, but maybe.

Budden wasn't the only celeb to get their name dropped during the 2017 BET Hip Hop Awards, either. Check out Eminem's verbal evisceration of President Trump if you want proof.
