Fredo Santana's recent health scare has him thinking about the future. And his immediate future could include a stint in a drug rehabilitation program.

As previously reported, earlier this week, the Chicago rapper was rushed to the hospital and diagnosed with liver and kidney failure. Fredo self reported his issues on Instagram, posting a video from his hospital bed. "Been in here since Friday doctor say a nigga had kidney failure an liver failure," he wrote in the caption. He also notified fans that his collab project with Chief Keef, Turbo Bandana, would not be coming out as scheduled due to his health issues. "Thanks for everyone who prayed for a nigga I wouldn't wish this on my worse enemy," he added.

Most people speculated that the rapper's lean usage was the major cause of his complications. He appeared to confirm this, recently taking to Twitter and saying he is contemplating getting help for his drug use and possible mental health issues.

"Hopefully I can be the face to sho niggas to slow down an we got our whole life ahead of us fuck being rock stars gettin high I got ptsd," he opened up to fans. "I was running from my old life tryna get high didn't want to face them demons...I'm getting help I might just go to rehab," he added.

The rapper also briefly recounted the scary situation that landed him in the hospital.
