You can debate who the best rap group of all-time is, but one of the most transcendent and influential is the Wu-Tang Clan, who have become synonymous with the explosion of the East Coast rap scene that ushered in the sound of the mid-1990s. More than two decades after the release of their debut album, Enter the Wu-Tang (36 Chambers), the Wu-Tang Clan, who were once viewed as the most indomitable force in rap, are on the other side of a tumultuous period, during which the crew made headlines for everything aside from the music.

Whether it be RZA's controversial comments, beef between Ghostface Killah and Action Bronson, disgruntled group member U-God filing a lawsuit against the Clan, and last, but definitely not least, the sale of the group's mysterious album, Once Upon a Time in Shaolin, to Martin Shkreli for $2 million, which has yet to see the light of day, there has always been plenty to talk about outside of the music when it comes to the Wu-Tang.

However, the remaining members of the crew look to put the drama behind them and the music to the forefront with the release of their new album, The Saga Continues, their first offering since 2014's A Better Tomorrow. Produced by longtime Wu producer Mathematics in its entirety and executive produced by RZA, The Saga Continues marks a return to form for the Staten Island reps, and boasts what can be argued is their best material since their 2001 release, Iron Flag.

All members, sans U-God, make appearances on The Saga Continues, and sound reinvigorated and put forth some of the most monstrous stanzas they've dropped in years. This makes their seventh studio album required listening for any Wu stan.

XXL sifted through all of the darts thrown on the Wu-Tang Clan's latest and picked out 20 of the best lyrics from The Saga Continues. Did your favorite make the cut?
