As one of hip-hop's hottest producers, Zaytoven is now teaming up with Motown Records. The Grammy-winning producer signed a partnership deal between his own Familiar Territory Records and Motown.

Having collaborated with Gucci Mane, Future, Migos, Drake and Nicki Minaj many more, the Atlanta producer has made a name for himself in music and was praised by Steve Barnett, the Chairman and CEO of Capital Music Group, for his work.

“Zaytoven’s prowess as a producer, songwriter and musician continues to have such influence and impact on music and popular culture, and his signing to Motown through his Familiar Territory Records will enable us all to experience his significant talents as a recording artist,” said Barnett. “I couldn’t be happier that Zaytoven is now a member of the CMG family.”

Zay's partnership with Motown Records appears to be a big deal for the label, as those in attendance for Zaytoven's signing included Ethiopia Habtemariam, President of Motown, Ashley Newton, President of Capitol and Michelle Jubelirer, the COO of Capitol.

“We’re excited to partner with such an innovative artist and look forward to helping Zaytoven and Familiar Territory’s vision come to fruition,” added Habtemariam.

While it's uncertain what Zaytoven and Motown will be releasing, it shouldn't take too long, as the producer revealed he doesn't spend more then 10 minutes creating a beat. During an interview with Sway in the Morning, Zaytoven said his process for making an instrumental is quick.

“There is no record that you have heard me produce that I done spent over 10 minutes on,” he said. “I got into it with Gucci Mane. And the reason why is because he’s impatient. I’m impatient. We want to listen to this music in our car. I don’t want to do just one song and ride around and listen to that. I wanna listen to five songs."

The producer also recently teamed up with Yung L.A. and Twista for the song "Pose To." The track was featured as a single for a collection of Adult Swim songs.

Congrats, Zay!
