Smokepurpp Drops “Bless Yo Trap,” Reveals ‘DEADSTAR’ Release Date

Rising Florida rapper Smokepurpp has been teasing his debut project DEADSTAR for months now, and on Wednesday (Sept. 6), we finally get a release date—Sept. 22. Along with the date comes a new song called "Bless Yo Trap," produced by Ice Bream, which you can bump below.

"Soundboi and I recorded the track one late night in a Park Ave penthouse while looking down at Manhattan," Purpp tells Billboard about the new song. "I just want to bless everyone's trap. Motivate people to hustle. Encourage everyone to be getting money like me.”

DEADSTAR will feature guest appearances from Lil Pump, D.R.A.M. and Yo Gotti, as well as production from TM88, Harry Fraud and Zaytoven.

In addition, Purpp will be headlining his Smokepurpp and Friends show at New York's Highline Ballroom on Sept. 28.
