Shy Glizzy has been pretty quiet this year, even though he surfaced in January as Jefe to drop The World Is Yours EP. But he's since retired the short-lived alias, and now he's back with a new song, "Take Me Away," produced by TM88. Cop it on iTunes or stream it via Spotify below.

Glizzy has long been one of the illest MCs to emerge from the DMV in recent years. Though it wasn't quite as widely-received as the first one, Young Jefe 2 was one of the best rap projects from front to back last year. But it's his standout verse on GoldLink's hit song "Crew" that's kept him in the public's eye more than anything.

A couple weeks ago, Glizzy Gang member 30 Glizzy was found gunned down in Baltimore. "Take Me Away" is dedicated to his memory.

"Take Me Away" is off Glizzy's upcoming EP Quiet Storm.
