Pharrell is in his mid-40s, but you'd never know it based on the youthful glow of his skin. For years, folks have wondered what, exactly, keeps the production virtuoso's skin looking so flawless. In a new interview, the music legend gives them their answer.

Discussing his new AW17 collaboration with Adidas Originals for Dazed, Skateboard P offers some insight into his skin care techniques. "I exfoliate like a madman," he tells the publication. "When you exfoliate and you drink a lot of water, that does good for you. To me, the key is just exfoliating, like a monster. There’s a lot of dead skin. All the time. Like a narcissistic madman."

While Pharrell didn't offer any insight into his exfoliation secrets, it feels safe to say he's been really comitted to applying them. The Neptunes member, who recently reunited with N.O.R.E. for his song "Uno Mas," has looked like someone in their 20s for what feels like an eternity now.

Skateboard has shared other skincare tips in the past, too. Back in 2013, he told Angie Martinez washing his face with cold water helped as well. "Washing my face, paying attention to it," he said of his secret at the time. "I mean little small stuff. Naomi Campbell taught me a couple of tricks back in the day. Washing my face with cold water to keep pores closed, little small stuff. You just gotta wash your face. I use Cetaphil.”

Fans can see Pharrell's unblemished skin live and in the flesh when he takes the stage at the 2017 Global Citizen Festival at the Great Lawn in New York City’s Central Park on Saturday, Sept. 23. Big Sean, Stevie Wonder, Green Day, The Killers, The Lumineers and The Chainsmokers will also be taking the stage. Should be fire.
