Post Malone and 21 Savage's long-awaited collaboration "rockstar" has finally arrived, but one fan in particular wasn't pleased with the outcome, creating what he felt was a more fitting tribute to the veteran rock group Nickelback.

The Stoney creator has experimented with incorporating elements of rock into his hip-hop-inspired tracks numerous times since breaking out with 2015's "White Iverson," but one fan, Drew Donnelly, felt as though the 22-year-old could have been more direct with shining a light on his musical influences, choosing to remix the new collaborative track utilizing vocals from Nickelback's 2005 hit single of the same name.

As uploaded to the popular Kanyetothe forum, Donnelly shared the "fixed" track, adding, "The original didn't pay any respect to the original rockstar, so I took matters into my own hands."

He then elaborates that he was inspired originally to turn the track into a meme, but then realized his remixed mash-up was "kinda fire." Fans on the forum agreed, with one user writing, "Wait, this is lowkey fire" along with the crying Jordan meme.

Post Malone is currently readying his highly-anticipated sophomore album, Beerbongs and Bentleys, revealing to XXL earlier this year that Metro Boomin and Frank Dukes will help handle the project's production duties. The album was originally slated for a June 2017 release but has since been pushed back, with Post reassuring fans it will be well worth the wait.

If his new collaboration with 21 Savage or his recent nod to Nirvana's "All Apologies" is any indication, Post Malone's new project will likely follow in a similar fashion and pay homage to the rock musicians who have soundtracked his youth.
