MobSquad Nard Drops 'Nardo DaVinci' Tracklist, 'Black Magic' Video

MobSquad Nard is heading into fall with a new project. The Jacksonville, Fla. native reveals he's got an album on the way, titled Nardo DaVinci, due out Oct. 13. Before he delivers the final product, Nard drops off a new visual for "Black Magic."

The 12-track album includes features from Starlito, Elevator Jay, Boosie BadAzz, Spitta and Nard's Mobsquad affiliates. In July, Nard released the video for his song "Itz Dat" featuring Boosie, which appears on the album as well.

The "Black Magic" music video—directed by McCain Merren—takes you to MobSquad Nard and Starlito's respective hometowns as they rap over the bass-heavy production.

"Black Magic is the power of real over fake so we wanted each of us to have the backdrop of our own city, Nashville and Jacksonville, for our verses," Nard tells XXL.

Nard wanted Starlito to hop on the Shawn T-produced beat because he knew he'd complement the track perfectly. "Plus he's the homie," he shares. The two recently collaborated on "Family to Feed" and "Err Time."

Other producers featured on Nardo DaVinci are Trigga T, Fames Sinatra, Drum Drummie, HB Titan and Fatality, with a surprise credit from Zaytoven.

MobSquad Nard prepped fans for this upcoming LP in late June when he released the mixtape #NardoDaVinciOTW, which shares a similar cover of the new album. On the tape, Nard's Florida drawl is heard over remixes to Kodak Black's "Tunnel Vision," Playboi Carti's "Magnolia," Rob $tone's "Chill Bill" and other popular beats from 2016 to early 2017.
