Funkmaster Flex Says DJ Clue Is a Wack DJ

If there's one thing Funkmaster Flex is never shy from, it's controversial statements that directly address how he feels about someone. During an interview with ThisIs50’s Winners Circle segment, the Hot 97 personality calls out DJ Clue, calling him a "wack DJ."

While he starts off by saying that he has respect for Clue, Flex doesn't hold back on his criticism of the Power 105 disc jockey, stating that his talent is "trash."

"You know what the funny thing is about Clue?" Flex starts off. "I respect Clue, and Clue's a good guy, but you know what the thing that he has trouble with? He's a wack DJ."

He continues on his rant by saying Clue tries to be "coy," even though Flex believes he can't handle it. The hip-hop veteran also claims Clue will "never be heard" as long as he's on the radio during the same slot.

"Don't be coy and your talent is trash. That's what bothers me about certain DJs. Don't be coy or cute and you know you can't handle it. And the nigga will never be heard when I'm on that radio. I will look you in your eyes and tell you that. A nigga will never be heard. No nigga has come in that slot and made a name off me."

This isn't the first time Flex has had some competitive words for DJ Clue, as there has been tension between them since Clue left Hot 97 to go to Power 105. The two have also recently been teasing a potential DJ battle for the past few months after Swizz Beatz went up against Just Blaze in a producer battle. We'll have to see if that ends up going down in the near future.
