Celebrities and politicians are working hard to raise awareness and donations for residents impacted by Hurricanes Harvey and Irma, and the Hand In Hand hurricane relief telethon, organized by Bun B and Scooter Braun, sees some of our favorite artists raising funds. While Beyoncé already delivered a moving speech, Drake provided some important words of his own.

During the live stream of the telethon, the More Life rapper made a speech regarding the devastation of the hurricane, urging fans and viewers to pay attention to what's going on and donate.

“These days it seems as one issue is ending, another is beginning” he said in the video below. "I know it can be extremely overwhelming. But your attention and your assistance is of extreme importance. On some days it will be about speaking up, on other days, it'll be about stepping up. In today's case, we're asking you to give. Give whatever you can."

Drizzy has already done a lot to help Houston in their time of need, as he previously donated $200,000 to JJ Watts' Hurricane Harvey relief efforts at the end of August. Tons of other hip-hop stars have been making huge donations to help out the major city, with Trae Tha Truth especially receiving tons of help from his rapper friends as he has been doing a lot of the aftermath of the storm.
