Joey Bada$$ announced yesterday (Aug. 22) that he has to cancel three of his upcoming performance stops as support for Logic's Everybody Tour. The All-AmeriKKKan Badass artist broke the bad news to his fans on Twitter, announcing that he will be a no-show at the Cleveland, Chicago and Toronto tour stops taking place Aug. 23, 24 and 26 respectively. Joey did not give a specific reason for his cancelation.

"Due to unforeseen circumstances, my Cleveland, Chicago & Toronto shows on the #EverybodyTour are cancelled," tweeted the Brooklyn MC.

These three dates on the tour, which kicked off backed in July, will be the last state-side engagements before Logic and friends head off on the European leg of the tour for 14 shows. The Euro trip will take place from October to November and will include cities like Paris, Berlin and London. The Badmon is expected to be at those dates.

Some fans are speculating Joey had to suddenly cancel these shows after injuring his eyes by looking at Monday's solar eclipse. Prior to the cancelation announcement, the 22-year-old MC told Twitter he'd looked at the eclipse without any recommended eye protection. Twitter trolls aside, the official reason for the rapper's schedule change is still unclear.
