Chance The Rapper has been great at staying out of trouble, but a member of his team is now caught up in a legal issue. According to TMZ, the Coloring Book rapper's bodyguard has been charged with simple misdemeanor battery after he allegedly body slammed a man in the lobby of the W Hotel in Chicago.

The site reports the incident began when the 44-year-old bodyguard, whose name is Star Thomas, blocked the alleged victim from getting into the same elevator as Chance. About two hours later, Chance and his team reportedly ran into the man in the lobby of the hotel, where he was allegedly body slammed by Thomas.

TMZ reports Thomas has been booked for misdemeanor simple battery for his role in the alleged incident. The alleged victim has not been identified at this time.

Over the weekend, Chance The Rapper performed back in his home city for the 2017 Lollapalooza Festival, where he reunited with Vic Mensa by bringing him out on stage during his set to perform old collabs like "Cocoa Butter Kisses." The two were met with a roar of applause from fans in the crowd, which was packed with thousands of concertgoers who came from far and wide to attend the festival.
