Cardi B's rise into superstardom is getting higher and higher, and now she's making a huge mark as a female MC. The Bronx native's "Bodak Yellow" single now has the highest-charting song on the Billboard Hot 100 chart by a female rapper since Nicki Minaj's "Anaconda" track from 2014. Cardi's track currently sits at No. 14 on the chart.

Back in 2014, Nicki's "Anaconda" single peaked at No. 2 on the chart, which was the highest-charting song for an unaccompanied female rapper with no guest features. With the rate Cardi's smash hit is rising up the charts, she may be on her way to the top very soon. "Bodak Yellow" debuted on the chart five weeks ago, and moved from No. 27 to No. 14 this week. The record has also leaped from No. 13-6 on the Streaming Songs chart, and rose from 35-20 on Digital Song Sales.

Currently, Luis Fonsi & Daddy Yankee’s "Despacito" single featuring Justin Bieber still holds the No. 1 spot on the Hot 100, and it's been there for 13 consecutive weeks now. DJ Khaled's "Wild Thoughts" smash hit with Rihanna and Bryson Tiller is now at No. 2, while French Montana and Swae Lee's "Unforgettable" sits at No. 3.

The month of August is sure to be a big one for all artists, but it's certainly looking to be the biggest yet of Cardi's growing career.
