Following the release of his latest project, Beautiful Thugger Girls, it appears Young Thug is already on to the next one. It looks like Thugger is working on Barter 7, the follow up to his controversial 2015 project, Barter 6.

Frequent collaborating producer Wheezy, recently posted a picture of Thugger in the studio onto his Instagram account, along with the caption, "Barter 7." If anyone would have inside info on what YT is working on it would be Wheezy. He produced the majority of the tracks on Barter 6.

The 2015 project caused a lot of headlines, because it was announced at the height of Lil Wayne and Birdman's beef and appeared to be Thug taking shots at the artist he seemed to be replacing on the Cash Money roster. Though Thug said he was paying homage, Lil Wayne didn't see it that way, and started to frequently diss Thugger over what he saw as a slight. “If there were any other albums that dropped recently, tell ’em I said ‘suck my dick,'” Tune told a crowd in Columbus, Ohio, shortly after Barter 6 dropped. “Carter V comin’ soon. Ain’t no muthafuckin such thing as Carter 6."

Then there was the whole issue of the cover art for the project, which appeared to show Young Thug naked and had the internet going nuts.

No more details were given on the upcoming project.
