Vic Mensa survives an epic plane crash in his new video for "Rage," a reflective bonus track from his forthcoming debut album, The Autobiography. Peep the new visual for yourself below.

In the new visual, we see Mensa is inside of a plane that appears to be going for its last flight—meaning the Roc Nation artist faces certain death. Throughout most of the vid, Vic bounces across the inside of the plane, clutching onto whatever will keep him stable. Unfortunately, his efforts are mostly in vain, as the plane eventually crashes into the water.

Miraculously, though, Mensa survives to gaze at the wreckage after he's swam to shore. The shots following his survival are pretty fire, but the whole video is dope.

The song itself finds the Chicago artist reflecting on his life up to this point, including his troubles with the law, addiction, his self-reliance and more. Mensa vacillates between singing and rapping the whole way through, flexing the versatility his Roc Nation boss, JAY-Z, commended him for during his The Autobiography listening party last week.

“Vic is a very special talent. He can do everything – sing well, rap well,” the rap icon said at the time. “He even engineers himself sometimes. He’s an incredible artist, like a once in a lifetime artist.”

Check out "Rage" below. The Autobiography drops on July 28.
